Refund & Cancellation Policy
Lytbub Studios — operated by Lytbub Technologies LLC
Effective Date: July 21, 2026
The short version
We'd rather fix a problem than argue about a refund. If something isn't right, email billing@lytbub.com and we'll respond within 5 business days — usually much faster. The rules below are the defaults; if your signed Service Agreement says something different, your signed agreement wins.
1. Discovery Sessions, audits, and consultations
These are non-refundable once delivered — you're paying for the time and the advice, which can't be returned. A paid Discovery Session is credited toward your first project if you start one with us within 60 days.
2. Project deposits and payments
- Deposits reserve your slot and fund the first phase of work. They are non-refundable once work has started.
- If you cancel a project mid-way, you pay for the work completed to that point (prorated), we deliver the work-in-progress in its current state, and anything already paid above that is refunded.
- Final payments are due on delivery. Ownership of the finished work transfers to you when the final payment clears.
3. Monthly retainers and subscriptions
- Retainers renew automatically each month and your payment method is charged monthly until you cancel.
- Cancel any time, no fee, no reason required — email billing@lytbub.com or use your client portal, with at least 14 days notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- The month already billed is not refunded — service continues through the end of that cycle.
- Unused retainer hours don't roll over between months.
- We give at least 30 days written notice before any price change, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
4. Third-party costs
Domains, hosting, plugins, stock assets, software subscriptions, and app-store fees are purchased from outside vendors on your behalf. They are non-refundable once purchased, and their prices and policies are set by those vendors, not us.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe. Stripe typically posts refunds within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Billing disputes and chargebacks
Contact billing@lytbub.com before disputing a charge with your card issuer — nearly every billing issue is faster to fix directly with us. Filing a chargeback on a validly invoiced amount is treated as a breach of your agreement: services may be suspended while the dispute is open, and you're responsible for our reasonable costs if the dispute is resolved in our favor.
